Main Objective
The ultimate goal of the "Love Saint Lucia" Campaign is to build resilience in the Saint Lucian economy by encouraging hobby farming, maximizing the potential of local industry, improving consumer awareness and increasing domestic market share of our local manufacturers and service providers.
Expected accomplishments

  • Educate and re-educate consumers on the importance of supporting our local economy
  • New and wider market reach including the export markets
  • Boost local consumer spending and strengthen our local culture
  • Subvert withdrawal from the circular flow of income and wealth and re-direct these resources to build our nation.
  • Contribute towards the development of Saint Lucia by consuming more of what we produce whether it be in Agriculture, Manufacturing or Service trade.

Love Saint Lucia Brand

Since the brand 'Saint Lucia' has been approved by the Government to market the island as a whole, adapting it for the "Love Saint Lucia" campaign will help with promoting national pride and increasing local consumption of local products and services. Using the brand could simultaneously increase visitor patronage since it would be familiar to them. Saint Lucia is regarded as having a premiere tourism product, thus the Saint Lucia brand would evoke a similar sentiment towards locally produced goods and services.

The yellow heart shape is meant to mimic the "hands heart shape," which has gained recognition and popularity worldwide. This hand heart shape that encloses the flag symbolizes that we should love Saint Lucia, love what is ours, Sé Sa Nou!
