Castries, July 12, 2018; In keeping with the Work Program for implementation of the CARIFORUM-European Union Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) in Saint Lucia, the Department of Commerce, International Trade, Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs in collaboration with the CARIFORUM Directorate of the CARICOM Secretariat will host a seminar for senior public sector officials on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   

This Seminar will address the Services and Investment Opportunities for Saint Lucia in the European Union Market, as well as, the Services and Investment Commitments made by Saint Lucia in the EPA.

The objective of this initiative is to assist with the identification of export and investment opportunities for services providers on a practical level and to build knowledge capacity of the EPA within the Public Sector.

Similar engagements have been planned for the respective services providers within the private sector.
