The Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is in the process of organising the 5th annual Taiwan-Saint Lucia Partnership Trade Exhibition, which will be held on the 5th floor Baywalk Mall from November 23-25, 2012.

The main objectives of the trade exhibition are:

To present to the general public and business organizations goods and services produced in Saint Lucia and Taiwan; To provide an opportunity for business organizations to explore avenues for trade and sources of raw material; To foster an environment for organizations in Saint Lucia and Taiwan to network and pursue strategic business opportunities.

Thirteen (13) Taiwanese companies have confirmed participation in this year's event.  Products from Republic of China (Taiwan) to be on display include: doors, sandals, welders, handbags, auto parts, recycling  systems, PVC matting, tools, curtains, appliances, video games, laptops, water heaters, crafts items, toys, yoga mats and exercise mats.  The Ministry is inviting local companies to take part in this event.
